About the Role:
As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining essential electrical and instrumentation equipment at our production facility. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, testing, adjusting, calibrating, and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems.
- Monitoring meters, indicators, and gauges to identify irregularities.
- Maintaining operational knowledge of software and hardware used in the facility.
- Conducting preventative maintenance inspections on all control instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and resolving them efficiently.
- Completing work order cycles, documenting tasks performed, and recording equipment history.
- Diagnosing issues with plant electrical equipment.
- Performing cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and adjustments as necessary.
- Installing and placing electrical equipment into service.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment to minimize safety hazards.
- Utilizing a multi-craft skill set to perform various maintenance tasks as needed.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Able to thrive in both team-based and independent work environments with minimal supervision.
- Skilled in maximizing production and reducing equipment downtime.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers, Servo and Frequency Drives.
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor and works cooperatively with others.
- Dedicated to promoting workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the facility.
- Willingness to work shifts that may include weekends, nights, and holidays.
