Area Maintenance Technician

Requirements:
Minimum of three years' experience preferred with on-site maintenance and general knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and Grounds Keeping. Must have written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work on and prioritize projects. Must have valid driver's license with clear Motor Vehicle Record and reliable transportation and must be able to pass criminal background check in order to perform job functions. Typical shift is Mon thru Fri 8 hrs however must be able and willing to work flexible schedule that includes on-call for weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Works with Maintenance Manager in performing all maintenance related assigned tasks.
- Works hands-on as required or directed by Maintenance Manager to take care of a variety of facility maintenance requirements ensuring maintenance is performed on a timely basis and to ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
- Tracks, monitors, and completes work orders and scheduled work.
- Responds to emergency calls
- Provides professional and courteous customer service and helpful demeanor with co-workers, vendors, etc.
- Complies with all Company policies. Adheres to company key procedures
- Have dependable transportation to and from work
- Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
- Enjoy working with others and taking direction when needed
- Monitors and regularly inspects the property, landscape, and maintenance repairs for quality, readiness and safety
- Identifies and addresses needs for improvement, repair and/or replacement
- Keeps the maintenance shop clean, organized and in good working order
- Communicates and shares information with management regarding overall property maintenance condition, and status
- Ensures maintenance goals and objectives are mutually understood and provides feedback
- Performs other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
- Able to work in all climate conditions, not afraid of heights or climbing ladders
Education: High school Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
