Engineering Technician

Pay Range: $30hr - $34hr
- The Manufacturing/Assembly Technician will perform precision assembly work in a manufacturing and prototyping environment.
- The role requires reading and interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining accurate records, working with fragile and precise assemblies, and adhering to established policies and procedures.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
- Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
- Handle very fragile and precise assemblies with care.

- Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment.
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, and scales.
- Perform effectively both as an individual contributor and within a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year post-secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- bility to work overtime, weekends, shifts, and travel as required.

- Willingness to submit to a background investigation; government security clearance may be required.
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Optical disciplines.
- erospace or Defense industry experience.
- Experience with shop equipment including Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and precision measuring equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience with HS Diploma, or 2 years post-secondary with 2 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and schematics.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
- Work with fragile and precise assemblies.
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment effectively.
