As a Catering Team Leader at Panera, you will be essential to our catering operations. You will assist guests in planning and selecting delicious Panera menu items for their events, respond to inquiries, and ensure a hassle-free catering experience with timely and accurate food delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating catering orders for our valued guests.
  • Creating standout experiences through warm and friendly service, clear communication, and proactive follow-ups so every guest leaves happy.
  • Delivering catering orders to guests' events.
  • Strictly adhering to all health and food safety regulations.
  • Maintaining Panera's high standards for food quality.
  • Generating excitement and interest in Panera's offerings.
  • Promoting Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
  • Providing assistance and support to Managers and Team Members as needed.
  • Contributing to our culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

This Role Is Perfect for You If:

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You have completed basic food safety training (Food Handler's Card as required by law).
  • You enjoy interacting with people and possess strong communication skills.
  • You are a self-starter capable of achieving goals with minimal supervision.
  • You excel in organizational and time-management skills.
  • You have your own vehicle available for delivering orders and possess a good driving record.
  • You are able to safely operate a passenger vehicle and have an acceptable driving history.
  • You can work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • You can lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing 25-50 pounds.
  • You are capable of standing and walking for up to 3 hours at a time.
  • You can effectively communicate in a loud environment and understand directions clearly.
