Join a leading Global Security Vendor that is expanding rapidly We are seeking an IT Operations Engineer to enhance our IT department and support our global end users. This is an exciting opportunity to implement innovative IT solutions that drive our company's growth. You will be the go-to person for assisting end users and will play a vital role in our fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess experience as a senior desktop engineer or systems administrator.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Identifying and resolving persistent issues in collaboration with IT team members and business application owners.
  • Providing expert technical support for hardware and software to end users through various channels—whether in person, over the phone, or remotely.
  • Ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires and conducting thorough offboarding procedures.
  • Testing and implementing tools to deploy and support end-user technology efficiently, boosting user productivity.
  • Effectively prioritizing ongoing tasks and promptly communicating any roadblocks to senior management.
  • Creating and updating clear Helpdesk Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining an accurate IT knowledge base.
  • Supporting mobile device management (MDM) policies and software deployment for macOS and Windows laptops.
  • Facilitating the deployment and management of Microsoft technologies such as Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Copilot.
  • Providing technical support for VoIP phones and conference room audio-visual systems.
  • Overseeing laptop imaging, patching, and mobile device management (for iOS and Android).
  • Prioritizing IT requests based on urgency and impact, collaborating with all organizational levels for swift issue resolution.
  • Partnering with IT teams on technology projects, services, and automation tool implementations.
  • Managing physical and electronic inventory of endpoints/laptops.
  • Communicating professionally and effectively with end users, customers, vendors, and other IT personnel.
  • Staying responsible for maintaining security accounts for relevant systems.
  • Monitoring and resolving incidents related to systems, networks (like VPN), and security.
  • This role requires regular onsite presence at our HQ located in San Francisco.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Extensive IT support experience as a senior desktop engineer or systems administrator in a high-paced setting.
  • Exceptional prioritization, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in mobile device management solutions (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune).
  • Experience in supporting macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Windows systems.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security tools and backup solutions.
  • A strong customer service focus with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A passion for problem-solving within a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems like Freshservice, ManageEngine, or ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of ITIL Service Desk best practices (ITIL v4 Foundation certification is an advantage).
  • Background in regulated environments with strict confidentiality and data privacy standards.
  • Awareness of and adherence to InfoSec guidelines and principles.
