Under the general supervision of the Chief of the Cooperative Programs Section, Staff Services Manager II, and the direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Cooperative Programs Analyst has the primary responsibility to perform duties pertaining to the Department of Rehabilitations (DOR) contract management, contract administration and monitoring, community partnerships, and support of field staff as it relates to cooperative program functions.
In addition to being a member of the DOR Cooperative Programs Section, this professional will also work in collaboration with staff from the California Department of Education (CDE), local education agencies, California community colleges and universities, state and local mental health agencies, consumers, and other sections, divisions, and districts within DOR. On an increasingly responsible basis, the Cooperative Programs Analyst performs standard program analysis, contract development and implementation, and program monitoring functions. This requires specialized knowledge of the DOR, cooperative and case service contracts, and interagency agreements.
With close mentorship, the Cooperative Programs Analyst will support various statewide and DOR district programs providing vocational rehabilitation services for DOR consumers, working closely with local DOR district staff to ensure cooperative contracts meet local district and consumer needs.
Telework:
Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.
