Job Summary

The Marketing Intern will collaborate with the Integrated Marketing team to identify, plan and execute key projects. This includes creating content reflective of the Norman Regional Health System voice and brand.

Job Requirements

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of AP Style preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once with strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of graphic design with experience of Canva or Adobe Suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media channel management (Loomly, like Hootsuite).
  • Ability to develop digital content for social media and the website for Norman Regional focusing on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Ability to write, shoot and edit short-form vertical videos for social media engagement while using brand guidelines and brand standards.
  • Ability to learn how to use Norman Regional intranet with assistance from social media and marketing specialists.
  • Stay up to date on digital trends related to marketing and utilize those trend to the benefit of the health system with the guidance of marketing leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute projects that support business objectives and enhance the employee and patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Education Requirements: current Sophomore, Junior or Senior level university student majoring in marketing, advertising, journalism, public relations or similar field
  • Employment Requirements: background check, drug test, TB test and COVID and flu vaccine.

Start Date: January 2026

End Date: Either May or August 2026 (Internship may be extended based on candidate and department preference)

Pay: $10.00 per hour at 15 hours a week.
