As a Key Account Executive focused on State, Local, and Education (SLED) clients, you will be a key player in driving growth and innovation across the U.S. We are seeking driven professionals ready to leverage advanced tools, collaborate across teams, and foster strong customer relationships in a supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a revenue responsibility of $30-40M.
  • Use cutting-edge selling tools to prioritize activities and efficiently document customer interactions.
  • Expand your book of business through proactive hunting and uncovering opportunities across account hierarchies.
  • Collaborate with Outside Developers to ensure sales growth through program compliance at all account sites.
  • Lead a cross-functional team to execute strategies that drive account growth.
  • Work with the Revenue Management Team to make informed pricing decisions based on future spend potential.
  • Exemplify strong business acumen to identify and align with customers' initiatives including diversity and sustainability.
  • Utilize industry insights to support product selection and streamline the assortments offered on SA.com.
  • Engage with Customer Success Managers to enhance customer experiences and resolve maintenance requests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives within the customer base.

  • Strong presentation skills for both in-person and virtual deliveries.
  • Consultative, solutions-focused selling, along with exceptional client management skills.
  • The ability to create and implement strategic customer growth plans.
  • Adeptness at analyzing customer data and market trends to craft tailored solutions.
  • Independence to function with minimal supervision.

What's Needed - Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing programs or driving business development.
  • Familiarity with office supplies, technology products, and related categories.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior customer levels.
  • Expertise in consultative selling and negotiation.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams for account planning.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business and industry trends.
  • Capacity to manage pricing negotiations for sales opportunities.

What's Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Experience with Government and Education Coops.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other essential software.
  • Experience in account management with Fortune 1000 clients.
  • A background in B2B sales and the ability to retain and grow accounts.
