Job Details:

  • Shift: Full-time, evening shifts with call requirements
  • Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15
  • Hours Per Week: 40

Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and safe environment in the surgical area.
  • Utilize aseptic surgical techniques in preparing materials and equipment.
  • Set up the operating room efficiently and assist the surgical team during procedures.
  • Maintain the specialty cart and check for the availability of instruments and supplies.
  • Assist in patient positioning and transportation with proper technique.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • No prior experience necessary; we welcome recent graduates

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry patients and equipment while adhering to safety standards.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
