Join Our Surgical Team Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for our dynamic Operating Room team. This full-time position offers competitive compensation ranging from $26.10 to $39.15 per hour, along with a robust benefits package and significant opportunities for professional growth.

Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Schedule Details: Full-time, evening shift with 8 or 10-hour shifts, Mon-Fri with additional on-call duties, primarily overnight.

Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain a clean and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist in the surgical field, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Participate in patient positioning and transport as required.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring everything is in working order.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of employment.
  • No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new graduates

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs, with a capacity to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
