What does a Heavy Equipment Mechanic do?As a new Heavy Equipment Mechanic at S.J. Louis, you can expect a dynamic day filled with hands-on maintenance and repair tasks for our diverse range of construction equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and executing repairs in our state-of-the-art shop.
You'll work closely with experienced technicians, gaining valuable insights as you enhance your skills in a collaborative environment focused on excellence and innovation. Your typical schedule will consist of daytime hours, with the possibility of overtime to meet project demands. Some Saturdays may be required, ensuring that our equipment remains in optimal condition to support ongoing construction projects.
