Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? At Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Surgical Technologists I in the General Specialty PMs department. Our hospital is the largest in Wisconsin and is known for its state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional patient care.

Compensation and Benefits:

Incentives:

  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus eligible for distance-based relocation.
  • $2,000 Sign-On Bonus eligible for PM shifts at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile and efficient operating room environment.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques during surgical procedures.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transport duties, ensuring safety and compliance with best practices.
  • Function as a Second Assistant when required.
  • Notify staff of any equipment or supply issues.
  • Maintain specialty carts and ensure all supplies are prepared and sterile.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to various hazards, requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Must possess functional sight and hearing.
