About the Role:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will:

• Prepare sterile environments, ensuring patient safety during surgical procedures
• Assist in various surgeries, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
• Maintain sterilization protocols and efficient operations of the operating room
• Transport patients and equipment as necessary
• Function as a secondary assistant during surgeries when needed

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• No previous experience required, but a demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques is crucial

Physical Demands:
This role requires the ability to lift and move patients and equipment, maintain composure in stressful environments, and adapt to high-intensity situations. Essential physical skills include:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform transfers of patients as needed
• Capacity to stand, walk, and operate equipment during extended periods
