Technical Support Specialist - Waste Solutions Division

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Waste Solutions
Location: Remote (U.S.) - Travel Required (10-20%)

Summary of Position

USA DeBusk is seeking a highly capable and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our growing Waste Solutions Division. This role provides technical, operational, and customer-facing support for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal activities. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of industry experience with deep understanding of RCRA and DOT regulations.

Essential Responsibilities

Technical & Regulatory Support

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for waste profiling, characterization, approvals, and regulatory classifications.
  • Interpret laboratory analytical data, SDSs, and generator information to determine proper waste handling pathway.
  • Develop, review, and maintain documentation including waste profiles, manifests, LDRs, and waste codes.
Operational & Project Coordination
  • Coordinate logistics, container selection, scheduling, and communication with haulers and TSDFs.
  • Manage multiple waste projects ensuring regulatory compliance, documentation accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Provide proactive communication to customers regarding project timelines, approvals, and scheduling.
Customer & Internal Support
  • Support inside sales and BD teams with technical assessments, pricing assistance, and disposal recommendations.
  • Assist internal specialty service lines with waste classification and disposal planning requirements.
  • Support customer service efforts to ensure high-quality client experience.
Vendor & Network Development
  • Help develop and maintain relationships with TSDFs, transporters, recyclers, and beneficial reuse facilities.
  • Assist with MSA development, vendor qualification, pricing structures, and onboarding processes.
  • Strengthen national disposal and transportation partnerships to expand service capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hazardous waste management or industrial environmental services.
  • Strong working knowledge of RCRA hazardous waste regulations and DOT 49 CFR transportation rules.
  • Experience evaluating analytical data and regulatory requirements.
  • Background working with TSDFs, transporters, or industrial service providers.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workflow software tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel as needed.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000 per year
