Position Overview:

We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapy services to help students achieve their developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions tailored to students' needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary.
  • Consult and support teachers on strategies to enhance student participation and success.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational plan development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and required paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with sensory integration therapy and therapeutic modalities is preferred.
