Position Overview:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the E-Therapy team. The successful candidate will deliver vital occupational therapy services to our students, helping them achieve their developmental, educational, and functional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with students, parents, and school staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at promoting students' skill development.
  • Monitor and document progress toward goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and school staff on strategies to enhance student participation in class.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop students' education plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric therapy setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of therapies like sensory integration and handwriting improvement (preferred).
