Join our dynamic Medical/Surgical team We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to provide exemplary patient care during the night shift. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will assess, coordinate, and implement care strategies that promote the wellbeing of our patients throughout their hospital stay.
Position Overview:
- Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, Night Shift
- Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $93,184.00
Your role will include:
- Implementing physician orders and administering medications proficiently.
- Starting IVs, performing treatments, and conducting special tests, all while ensuring documentation is completed as per policy.
- Evaluating and interpreting diagnostic tests to enhance patient assessment.
- Assessing patient needs and responses to care provided.
- Exercising sound nursing judgment in managing patient care.
- Providing primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to develop personalized care plans.
- Guiding ancillary personnel and upholding nursing standards of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
- Current NYS Registered Nurse license is required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory; additional certifications may be required depending on the department.
- Preferred experience in roles such as Patient Care Assistant.
- A commitment to continuous education for professional development.
- Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply them in enhancing patient care.
