Summary:

Join us in a pivotal leadership role focused on scheduling for a range of high-priority Data Center projects at Meta. As the Lead Scheduler, you will be the go-to technical expert in schedule management, driving speed to market while collaborating closely with the Delivery Team and Project Controls Lead to anticipate and address scheduling risks and challenges. Your leadership, communication, and organizational skills will be essential in this dynamic, analytical, and strategic position. You'll partner with various internal departments, including Project Management, Pre-Construction, Contracts, Finance, Accounting, Sourcing, and Operations Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee end-to-end schedule coordination and updates, ensuring clear communication and alignment of schedule variances with cross-functional partners.
  2. Identify and document scheduling risks, communicating these through established processes including Risk Registers and health reviews.
  3. Manage all vendor and contractor schedule aspects to ensure streamlined project execution.
  4. Guide contractor baseline schedule development during pre-construction phases, optimizing schedules for timely delivery.
  5. Provide leadership and direction in delay tracking and claims related to contractor Extensions Of Time (EOT), ensuring compliance with contractual standards.
  6. Lead the identification of proactive risk indicators and escalate significant risks to health reviews and other relevant forums.
  7. Manage a small team of consultants as required to enhance effective schedule management.
  8. Be prepared for approximately 50% travel to other Data Center sites and the home office.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in Planning, Scheduling, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant technical field.
  3. Expertise in Primavera P6 and other scheduling methodologies and tools.
  4. Experience in developing and managing an Owner's planning/scheduling program.
  5. Familiarity with Data Center or construction programs that involve complex commissioning specifications.
  6. Proven analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, organizational, and reporting skills.
  7. Experience leading intricate project or program planning across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Track record of developing actions based on schedule or project control performance metrics.
  9. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape strategic objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in identifying scheduling efficiencies and adapting execution strategies for optimal performance.
  2. Experience negotiating schedule changes or complex construction claims.
  3. Successful development and execution of scheduling strategies in a large organization.
  4. Knowledge of complex networking systems and electrical infrastructure.
  5. Experience managing a team of contingent worker schedulers.

Compensation:

$144,000/year to $201,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
