Summary:
The Resident Services Associate is dedicated to delivering personalized care and services to residents in accordance with their individualized service plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, their families, and visitors.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents' physical and mental health, reporting any changes promptly to nursing staff.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing first aid and arranging necessary medical follow-up.
  • Help maintain a clean and orderly environment in residents' apartments.
  • Attend to resident needs promptly when called upon.
  • Provide medication reminders as assigned.
  • Support residents with laundry and clothing needs.
  • Assist with meal selection, service, and feeding when required.
  • Participate in activity programs as needed.
  • Maintain records and files according to policy.
  • Complete monthly in-service training hours as mandated by state regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

  • Current Nurse's Aide Registration (State Specific)
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
  • Able to handle physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
  • In good health and free from communicable diseases.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to bend and reach as necessary.
  • Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50lbs at times.
  • Able to stand for extended periods.
  • May need to operate a Hoyer Lift.
