SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Cardiovascular Technologist II is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all high-risk, diagnostic and interventional adult and pediatric procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience (2 years)

  • Minimum two (2) years full-time work experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular catheterization laboratory

  • Basic, adult, and pediatric life saver credentials (BLS, ACLS, PALS)

  • RCIS- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

  • CCI (RCIS), ARRT (CI), or, ARRT (VI)
