SUMMARY OF POSITION:
At minimum, the Level I Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for assisting the physician(s) with all routine scheduled diagnostic and interventional, and emergent adult procedures. Primary clinical roles include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring/recording during cardiovascular and peripheral procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
-
Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Program; or 2 years of Interventional Cardiac Catheterization lab experience; or Graduate of an approved RT Program

BLS and ACLS certification required within 6 months from date of hire.

PALS certification required within 12 months from date of hire.

Must possess or obtain RCIS, CI, or VI certification with the within 24 months from date of hire.
