Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems for availability, performance, and reliability. Implement logging and alerting to proactively identify and respond to issues.
- Manage Azure services, including App Services, Function Apps, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Microsoft Entra ID, Application Gateway, and Firewalls.
- Plan, build, and maintain real-time connections to customer data centres leveraging VPN tunnels, VWAN, and Firewalls.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Bicep, ARM, Terraform) for consistent, repeatable deployments.
- Identify and resolve capacity, scaling, and performance bottlenecks in the platform.
- Design and support high availability, disaster recovery, and scaling strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are production-ready and optimized for cloud environments.
- Manage and execute recurring tasks such as new customer database setup, VPN tunnel configurations, IP address whitelisting, email and texting configurations, SSL certificates, secret and password rotations.
- Manage the operating costs of the SaaS platform and implement ways to reduce cost without sacrificing availability, performance and reliability.
- BA/BS Degree
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, especially App Services, Function Apps, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Microsoft Entra ID, Application Gateway, and Firewalls.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
- Strong grasp of scaling, high availability, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
