Leidos is hiring an Asset Management Forward Supply Clerk  to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) IT Services (ITS) program at The Pentagon and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC. The successful candidate will assist the Government staff by developing, maintaining, and improving the AFNCR ITS Catalog and provide continuous process improvement analysis in support of those services.

The Leidos Defense Group currently has an immediate opening for an Inventory Operations Manager supporting the 844th Communications Group for the Air Force District Washington (AFDW)

Primary Tasks

• Manage, Maintain, and deploy IT equipment while tracking the lifecycle via a CMDB such as Remedy.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting on all accountable IT assets. There are more than 50,000 accountable configuration items at this time, which require an inventory touch each year through automated or manual means.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables as required by the contract.
• Deploy IT equipment for Tech Refresh, Deskside Support, and Routine Requirements requests and meet all Service Level Requirements (SLA).
• Identify obsolete, broken and out of warranty equipment.
• Provide daily inventory reports as well as maintain a threshold of assets for deployments.
• Cross training for new employees in your department.
• Assist with scheduling deliveries.
• A current and ative Secret Clearance may is required.

Basic Qualifications

• Requires 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a formal educational degree when meeting job qualifications.
• Experience with hardware asset management functions.
• proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Office, MS Teams)
• Must be committed to customer service, well organized, able to plan and prioritize assignments, and able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional when interacting with colleagues and customers, demonstrate a solid ability to identify and solve problems, and be able to work successfully in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of BMC Remedy modules, especially Asset Management.
• Has a CAMP or CHAMP Certification
• Experience with logistics and/or asset management functions in a DOD/Military environment.
• Experience in the AFNCR environment with AFDW and/or HAF customers.
