Join Our Team as a Senior Legal Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Paralegal to enhance our Anywhere Brands Legal Department. This department plays a vital role in the success of Anywhere Real Estate's renowned franchised brands, including Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Corcoran, ERA, and Sotheby's International Real Estate. As part of our team, you will collaborate across various departments, including Franchise Sales, Contract Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Compliance, making a significant impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal reviews of marketing materials, campaigns, sweepstakes, and related offerings.
  • Review vendor contract requests for the procurement of goods and services.
  • Maintain and update international franchise agreement templates to ensure compliance with jurisdictional changes.
  • Manage the due diligence process for international franchise candidates, collaborating with a third-party vendor to review reports and handle invoicing.
  • Assist in preparing Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) renewals and amendment applications.
  • Conduct research on applicable laws and regulations related to franchising and real estate.
  • Support complex legal departmental projects and facilitate the preparation of presentations and training materials for internal team sessions.
  • Maintain organizational documents, including corporate officer lists and the department's document management system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Preferred paralegal certification.
  • 7-10 years of paralegal experience.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines and prioritizing multiple responsibilities.
