Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean and safe surgical environment by maintaining aseptic techniques and preparing materials and supplies.
  • Assist in various surgical procedures while effectively communicating and anticipating the needs of the surgeons.
  • Set up the operating room, manage equipment, and ensure all instruments are sterile and ready for use.
  • Participate as a Second Assistant when needed and provide support for patient transportation and positioning.
  • Report equipment and supply issues promptly to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintain specialty carts and check all equipment’s functionality regularly.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months of hire.
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome fresh talent

Physical & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is essential.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling with 30 lbs of force, and performing other manual handling tasks.
  • Exposure to potential hazards such as chemicals, mechanical devices, blood, and body fluids.
