Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform sheet metal fabrication and installation across project sites.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to guide layout and installation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality expectations.
- Operate tools and equipment with precision, including cutting, bending, forming, and welding.
- Manage day-to-day workflow on-site, coordinating with HVAC crews and project managers.
- Maintain detailed records of labor, materials, and production tasks.
- Uphold a clean and organized work area and assist with inventory tracking.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.
- Strong technical proficiency in cutting, bending, welding, and the use of sheet metal equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and mentor apprentices or junior team members.
- High-level understanding of blueprints, schematics, and HVAC ductwork systems.
- Commitment to safety standards and clean work practices.
- Strong communication skills and a dependable, task-oriented work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- SST and OSHA certifications required.
