The Opportunity

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and create impactful solutions? M3 is seeking a skilled Applied Intelligence Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in our journey towards data excellence.

As an Applied Intelligence Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing, optimizing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in building and refining data pipelines and architectures to empower M3's creation of data-led products.

This role is open to all M3 locations.
WI locations: Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Wausau, Fond Du Lac, Kenosha, Eau Claire
IL location: Rockford
How You Will Make an Impact
  • Design and develop cutting-edge data architectures, models, flows, and storage solutions.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration between source systems and our data warehouse.
  • Develop and refine ETL processes to guarantee clean, accurate, and readily accessible data for analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand diverse data needs and craft tailored solutions.
  • Implement rigorous data governance policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Stay at the forefront of data engineering technologies and tools, driving continuous improvement.
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years of experience with Cloud-based DW such as RDS, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.
  • Strong experience in Python, Scala & Java.
  • Familiarity with Kimball, Star Schema, etc.
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, etc.
  • Experience with container management frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, etc.
  • AWS certifications such as Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Developer, Database, Data Analytics, Machine Learning.
