Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Asset Manager to play a critical role in the efficient supervision of data center assets. This role involves managing the lifecycle of assets through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring top-notch asset management for the Site Operations team. You will be responsible for developing and standardizing workflows for onboarding, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning, all while ensuring data integrity and operational alignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the ingestion and lifecycle management of data center assets using CMMS for accurate tracking and record-keeping.
  • Work closely with Site Operations teams, aligning asset management processes with organizational objectives.
  • Create and maintain standardized workflows for asset onboarding, maintenance, and decommissioning to enhance asset effectiveness.
  • Ensure data integrity within CMMS, validating accuracy and consistency for all mechanical, electrical, and IT assets.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate new asset types into CMMS, reflecting current requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of asset data to uncover gaps and improve management strategies.
  • Utilize CMMS data to analyze asset performance, predict maintenance needs, and guide replacement or modernization efforts.
  • Facilitate training and develop documentation for effective CMMS usage among Site Operations teams.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to incorporate best practices in asset management and CMMS technology.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of asset management experience, particularly focusing on data center operations and CMMS tools.
  • 5+ years in critical facilities or data center environments, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and IT assets.
  • Demonstrated success in managing asset management processes and workflows within a CMMS.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate asset performance and optimize lifecycle strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and training purposes.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard asset management practices and platforms such as Maximo or ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Experience with data center modernization and new technology integration is advantageous.

Compensation:

Hiring Range in USD: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum, with eligibility for bonus and equity.
