Job Summary: As a key member of our management team, the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the delivery of evidence-based clinical services to adults and children/adolescents. You will lead interdisciplinary teams in the provision of individual, group, and family therapy, while adhering to professional ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clinical care, behavioral health interventions, and compliance with treatment and transition planning.
  • Manage staffing by hiring, training, coaching, and providing corrective action as needed.
  • Evaluate staff performance and promote professional development within the clinical team.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for staff, holding them accountable for results.

Direct Patient Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care services including case management, crisis intervention, and emotional support to patients and their families.

Clinical Excellence:

  • Lead administrative initiatives, including team meetings and clinical supervision, as well as educational activities for staff.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to second-year social work students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work required.
  • Current Connecticut LCSW license required.
  • 1 year of management experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • 2 years of experience as a licensed clinician (LCSW) required.
  • Experience in a clinical setting with adults or child/adolescents is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to utilize team approaches in clinical interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships.
  • Commitment to safety for patients, clients, and staff.
