Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's is currently seeking an Audit Staff Accountant to join their team in Vero Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the audit processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee credit card transaction processes.
  • Help prepare monthly and quarterly audit preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Assist with year-end preparations.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Implement policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP.
  • Handle month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Oversee the general ledger (GL) activities.
  • Conduct balance sheet accounting and reconciliations.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Required Work Hours

This position requires availability from Monday through Friday (In-Office Only)
