WE Transport is currently hiring for positions that offer the flexibility you need. If you're not yet licensed, worry not—we provide paid CDL training to help you become a confident driver

What We Offer:

  • Flexible Schedule: Split shifts available in the morning and afternoon
  • Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week
  • Paid CDL Permit Training
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for fully licensed NY CDL drivers with A, B, or C licenses with P & S endorsements
  • Starting Pay Rate for School Bus Van Drivers: $24.25/hour
  • Starting Pay Rate for School Bus Drivers: $28.50/hour (CDL A or B with P and S Endorsement Required)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or van to transport students.
  • Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior for a secure ride.
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and district standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements or Class C with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and comply with state and federal CDL guidelines.
  • Non-CDL drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and complete CDL permit training.
