Leidos is in search of dedicated Mortgage Origination Professionals to join our FHA Resource Center team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Mortgage Origination Customer Support Specialist, your expertise in the mortgage industry will allow you to significantly impact individuals' lives while enhancing your knowledge of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) policies and procedures.

What will you do?

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to a range of calls and emails regarding FHA guidelines and procedures.

  • Utilize your mortgage industry knowledge to find answers in a comprehensive knowledge database for client inquiries.

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures across various topics and communication channels.

  • Document all interactions in our database efficiently.

  • Stay updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures.

What qualities do you need to succeed?

  • Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and applications.

  • Outstanding time management skills and reliability.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, particularly in telephone interactions.

  • Proven keyboarding skills of at least 40 words per minute.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

  • At least 2 years of experience in mortgage origination roles (e.g., loan officer, processor, or underwriter).

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a contact center or customer service role.

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which includes a credit check and background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FHA knowledge or experience.

  • Experience in a contact center with omnichannel support.

Compensation: This position offers a pay rate of $20-$22 per hour.

Please note that this position is subject to the Service Contract Act and adheres to minimum wage and Health and Welfare benefits provisions.
