The Schwab Independent Branch in Horsham is looking for an Independent Branch Financial Consultant with a passion for serving clients.

The Schwab Independent Branch in Horsham, PA is looking for an Independent Branch Client Service Specialist with a passion for serving clients.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Independent Branch Financial Consultants help grow the profile and business of the Schwab Independent Branch through client referrals, marketing events, and proactive engagement with clients and prospects

• At the direction of the Independent Branch Leader, Independent Branch Financial Consultants help establish, deepen, and grow Schwab client by sourcing and networking, providing outstanding service, and ultimately appropriate investment guidance and advice based on client needs

• Independent Branch Financial Consultants are self-motivated, creative thinkers, and are committed to providing outstanding service and building long-term client relationships with Schwab

• Building strong, personal relationships with clients is a key component the Independent Branches’ success. Client Service Specialists greet clients and prospects with warm enthusiasm when they call or visit the branch, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated

• Deliver outstanding service and provide all clients with an exceptional experience

• Support branch marketing activities to help drive client acquisition and deepen relationships with existing clients

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet clients in person and over the phone
• Receive checks and security deposits and process new accounts
• Schedule client consultations and help facilitate client requests
• Maintain branch to Schwab brand standards
• Assist the Independent Branch Leader and sales staff with meeting client needs
• Coordinate marketing efforts for the branch, including but not limited to seminars and events

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:

Required minimum skills and qualifications are:

• Active and valid FINRA Series 7
• Active and valid Series 66 (or 63/65) license
• Active and valid insurance license (may be obtained within one year of staring the FC role)
• Three years successful proactive sales experience encompassing client solutions in the financial services industry
• Strong industry and market knowledge
• Excellent consultative, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven success in developing and managing client relationships
• Knowledgeable with client management software and broad computer skills
• In addition, ideal candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Certified Financial Planner or other financial services industry designation

**HOURS & COMPENSATION **

• Full-time position
• Typical hours are 8:30-5 Monday-Friday
• Benefits package to accrue for Paid Time Off (PTO), Health and Retirement plans
• Compensation to include but not limited to; salary, bonus, expense allowance, retirement and health benefits.
