Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative responsible for providing exceptional customer service through various forms of communication to resolve routine inquiries. The role includes accurately processing orders and building strong relationships with customer accounts through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service via phone, email, written communication, or personal contact.
- Identify and assess customers' service needs and refer to appropriate departments.
- Ensure order instructions are accurately submitted per customer specifications.
- Maintain current and accurate order entry information in required software programs.
- Build sustainable relationships with customer accounts through interactive communication.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- 2+ years of previous customer service experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Occasional travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence peers and senior management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to work overtime as necessary.
