Position Highlights:

About the Role:

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to create detailed images necessary for diagnosing and treating various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging.
  • Administer contrast media following established protocols.
  • Ensure high-quality images are submitted to PACS with accurate patient data.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment in the MRI department.
  • Be alert and proactive in identifying and reporting equipment issues.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Radiology or MRI Technology program.
  • ARRT-R credential and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification within 12 months of hire.
  • No prior experience is required; MRI cross-training can be provided.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk frequently.
  • Frequent lifting/moving of patients and equipment.
  • Good visual and auditory skills required for patient care.
