Description

Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will be responsible for radiation oncology care cancer patients, preferably on lung, head and neck cancers and/or GI cancers. The candidate will also actively participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellow; and clinical translational research and/or basic bench research. The practice sites are both at the Stony Brook Main Campus and The Phillips Family Cancer Center at Southampton.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

MD degree (or foreign equivalent). Eligibility for New York State Licensure, completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology Residency. Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology. Strong interest in an academic career with clinical, translational, or basic research.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated interest or experience in genitourinary cancer clinical care, clinical research and education. Experience in interstitial and intracavitary brachytherapy, SpaceOAR injection, and theranostics.
