Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Imaging/Nuclear Medicine Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in Medical Imaging. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administering medications and managing patient care during procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe environment and recognizing abnormal vital signs.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in the Medical Imaging department.
  • Participating in continuous education and quality improvement initiatives.

This role entails performing stress tests, CT biopsies, MRI pacemaker observations, and port accesses. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call or weekend shifts required.

Qualifications:

  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is required.
