About the Role:
The CT Imaging Technologist will conduct CT scans while ensuring excellent customer service and high-quality imaging. Responsibilities include preparing both patients and equipment for exams, gathering patient history, explaining procedures, and administering contrast via IV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT exams timely according to established protocols.
- Prepare imaging trays and administer contrast using a power injector.
- Complete required documentation and ensure all scheduled exams are performed.
- Participate in after-hours on-call shifts as needed.
- Maintain current licenses and certifications.
- Demonstrate understanding of patient care across various age groups.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT certification with advanced registry or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within one year of hire.
- Preferred one year of post-graduate experience.
- BLS certification is required.
