Senior Technical Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Technical Accountant who will be responsible for researching, assessing, and documenting technical accounting considerations related to revenue recognition, purchase accounting, impairment analysis, lease accounting, and other accounting topics. This role ensures compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements and collaborates closely with internal teams across accounting, asset management, and real estate services, as well as external auditors and valuation professionals.

- Research and document technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition and lease accounting
- Analyze new accounting standards and support SEC filings
- Evaluate and document property transactions and impairment analyses
- Oversee SOX 404 compliance and collaborate with auditors
- Provide technical accounting guidance to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required
- 3+ years of experience at a Big 4 or large national CPA
- Strong US GAAP knowledge, business writing, and public company reporting experience
- Proficient in Excel and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
