Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences and a keen eye for detail. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events ranging from corporate meetings and trade shows to private parties and community gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a diverse range of events from start to finish
- Coordinate with clients to determine event requirements and expectations
- Research, negotiate, and secure venues and vendors
- Develop event budgets and manage expenses while ensuring profitability
- Create detailed timelines and checklists for event preparations
- Oversee logistical arrangements including catering, audio/visual needs, and transportation.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, minimum 2 years
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics
