Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Firmware Engineer to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing the firmware required to interpret and manipulate the data from a variety of sensing technologies used in the family of flow and BTU meter systems . This includes developing new calculation algorithms and improving existing ones. This job also includes being technical project lead for the development of precision measurement devices. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: • Generate firmware using "C" code for various microprocessor platforms • Lead a cross - function al team of engineers in the development of new products (electrical, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing) • Develop test procedures and write software unit test s • Lead and participate in design reviews. • Define technical requirements and software architecture , including drivers based on market and top - level system requirements . • • All other related duties as required. Knowledge and Skills Requirement: • C Programming • Version Control Git and/or SVN • High er level programming language, such as Python or • Embedded Device Programming
