Job Title: HVAC Solutions Engineer

Summary: Are you an enthusiastic and skilled HVAC professional looking for an exciting opportunity? We are currently seeking a driven HVAC Solutions Engineer to be a part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role as a manufacturer's representative, you will provide essential engineering support and technical expertise to consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and end-users. Your responsibilities will include sizing and selecting top-quality commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical support and guidance on HVAC equipment selection to engineers, contractors, and architects.
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to recommend HVAC products that align with performance and budget needs.
  • Create and present comprehensive HVAC system designs, proposals, and submittals with precision.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, manufacturers, and internal teams for seamless collaboration.
  • Participate in job site meetings and provide vital technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and relevant building codes impacting HVAC systems.
  • Contribute to training sessions and lunch & learns aimed at educating engineers and contractors.
  • Assist the sales team in achieving goals for both territory and product lines.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent HVAC industry experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC design, sales, or technical support (experience with a manufacturer or rep firm is preferred).
  • Deep understanding of HVAC principles and system components.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and HVAC selection software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • EIT or PE license is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Environment:
