Pay/Schedule:
  • On-site Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
  • Salary $57,000-$61,500 USD
Job Description:

The Accountant AP will support daily accounting operations including accounts

payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and monthly close tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of bookkeeping functions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Assist with monthly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage Commission and General Ledger entries
• Perform Time and Attendance recordkeeping
• Support the preparation of financial reports as needed
• Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts
• Help monitor budget variances and flag discrepancies
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills - strong Excel background
  • Good written and verbal communication skills- for working as a team internally and interfacing with our customers' payables departments
  • Energetic self-starter
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Other administrative functions as assigned.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Associates or higher degree in accounting or business is a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
