Our client is currently seeking a Employee Development Spec 3

Title: Employee Development Specialist 3

Location: Renton, WA Duration: 12+ Months Shift: 2nd

Summary

This role is responsible for defining training project scope, recommending deliverables, budgets, and resources, and overseeing curriculum development. The specialist will lead instruction in aerospace manufacturing topics, assess training effectiveness, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, deliverables, budget, and resource requirements
  • Develop and review curriculum, course content, and instructional materials
  • Identify learning objectives and adapt curriculum to meet business needs
  • Lead instruction in specialized aerospace areas such as Electrical, Structural, Quality, or Systems
  • Deliver training using various methods (classroom, hands-on, virtual)
  • Conduct coaching sessions to improve individual and team performance
  • Monitor student progress and maintain a productive learning environment
  • Emphasize safety in all training activities
  • Perform assessments and recommend performance/process improvements
  • Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify new instructors
  • Ensure courseware complies with commercial, government, and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or support
  • Experience in coaching, instruction, or employee development
  • Background in leadership development curriculum design
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical work instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean certifications
  • Hands-on experience in Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, or Systems
  • Prior work as a mechanic in aerospace systems
  • Experience in Electrician/Structure/Wing/Spar Assembly, Needs Assessment, and Job Analysis
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • OR Master's degree with 4+ years
  • OR 10+ years of equivalent industry experience
