The University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business is seeking well-qualified Recruiting Coordinator to join the MBA &MS Admissions team. One of 13 schools and colleges located on the University of Maryland, College Park campus, the Smith School is a recognized leader in management research and education for the global economy. The school is consistently ranked among the world's top business schools by leading business publications such as Business Week, Financial Times, Economist and the Wall Street Journal.
Position Summary:
The position is responsible for supporting the recruiting and admissions for MBA/MS programs. The position will assist in planning, recruiting, and yielding, with primary responsibilities in communications management and event management for the masters programs. In addition, this position will support a customer service framework and logistical requirements for all masters programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of professional program, outreach, or event coordination experience.
Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education. Knowledge of outreach and marketing strategies.
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record-keeping.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Additional Job Details
Preferences:
Experience working with MBA and/or MS Admissions preferred
Strong customer service skills preferred
Direct customer service or consultative sales experience preferred
Experience working in Higher Education, especially a business school environment and graduate education experience preferred. SalesForce and Calendly experiences preferred
