Central Houston Nissan is looking to hire a Collision Estimator at our dealership

Job Summary:

The Collision Estimator position is a dynamic role often tasked with multiple responsibilities through the day. This includes writing detailed estimates, handling insurance claims and communicating to clients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage
  • Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace damaged items
  • Help Manage incoming calls
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of luxury vehicles directly with clients and vendors
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Prior Estimating experience is required
  • Insurance Claims handling experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
