Invoice and Check Processing Specialist

As an Invoice and Check Processing Specialist, you will play a key role in handling and depositing checks and invoices received via mail. Your responsibilities include reviewing correspondence for specific customer instructions, sorting mail, processing accounts, and preparing deposit tickets to meet daily and hourly deadlines.
Additionally, you will prepare vital information for our reporting system and communicate deposit details to lockbox customers to ensure individualized account management.
You will also contribute to significant business expansion initiatives within our Receivables Operations (Lockbox) team, collaborating closely with the assigned Program Manager and cross-functional teams in Operations, Product Management, Real Estate, Security, and IT. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating internal resources to ensure seamless project execution through effective internal and external meetings.
- Understanding project scope and objectives, engaging all relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensuring resource availability and allocation, organizing meetings, documenting minutes, and providing updates for the project team and stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation using tools like MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, following the pitch pro+ methodology.
- Assisting in the development of a detailed project plan to effectively monitor and track progress.
- Supporting the Project Program Manager in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Reporting and escalating issues to management as necessary to ensure project success.
