About the team and position
We're looking for a high-energy Accounts Payable Specialist to join our AP Team, reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Lead. The AP Specialist is responsible for entering a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency daily. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.
What you'll be doing
- High Volume Invoice processing with strict deadlines.
- Working with internal customers to ensure timely processing of Check Requests.
- Researching a high volume of inquiries regarding the status and other payment information.
- Reconcile Vendor Statements to confirm all outstanding invoices have been received and entered.
- Completing month-end duties on time.
- Working closely with GL Team regarding coding and invoice entries.
- Extend excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience.
- An ability to work and meet deadlines.
- Type 80+ words a minute with minimum errors.
- Good attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving skills.
- Flexibility with daily tasks.
- Organizational Skills.
- Advanced Excel and Oracle skills.
- A sense of urgency and professionalism, with impeccable communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
