Job Description

Provide clerical support to include typing, filing, sorting, cross-referencing, maintenance of files according to established system, and operating office equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employees must comply with traffic legislation, be conscious of road safety, demonstrate safe driving, and other good road safety habits while driving their personal vehicle for work purposes.
  • Blood drive promo packets (summaries, posters, table tents, clip art, and other enclosures)
  • Prepare and mail donor reminder cards
  • First time donor letters
  • Award certificates
  • Make paycheck stuffers and fliers and for blood drives
  • Send cards to donors to promote blood drives
  • Make permission slips for high school drives
  • Generate monthly mobile calendars
  • Bulk mailings
  • Modify Donor Demographics
  • Group Donations Report with Deferral
  • Using NeoPost
  • Engage
  • Prepare monthly Diversity & Inclusion Report
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 2-3 years of clerical support
Qualifications
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to function as a critical/key team member in a high-level production environment coupled with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to make simple decisions based on well-defined choices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the staff and the public to enhance Lifeline's relationship with the community
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Suites Certification

Physical Requirements

Employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and the ability to lift a minimum of 10 to a max of 20 pounds
