ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANGER
Pay Range: $23-$26/hour + Commissions
Full-Time • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a motivated, organized Assistant Property Manager to help deliver an exceptional resident experience and support the daily operations of our communities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of customer service, leasing, administrative work, and problem-solving-and wants a long-term career path in property management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Leasing, Resident Experience & Administration
• Be a welcoming, professional point of contact for residents and prospects.
• Show apartments, process applications, and manage lease renewals.
• Guide new residents through a seamless move-in process.
• Collect, process, and deposit rent and security payments accurately and on time.
• Manage delinquencies, late notices, and assist with eviction coordination.
• Respond promptly to resident inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports and handle general office administration.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on work orders, turnovers, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Handle additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
Operational & Team Support
• Help maintain strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and development in the Property Manager's absence.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Experience in basic bookkeeping, accounting, office administration, or residential property management (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail, especially in financial and administrative tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning property management software.
• Ability to interpret policies, business information, and basic accounting data.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to varied situations.
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to move throughout the property to perform essential functions.
• Occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 lbs.
• Standard office and on-site property environment.
• Reasonable accommodations available as needed.
